About this role
Position Description
You will serve as an Avionics Engineer in the Avionics Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will provide authoritative input and advice on all engineering and technical issues to ensure aviation system engineering requirements are met.
- You will develop project-planning objectives for engineering development and integration of current and future capabilities for datalink and radio systems .
- You will perform and direct technical analyses across the entire lifecycle of avionics systems.
- You will assist in the preparation, planning, and development of integrated logistics support plans for assigned avionics systems.
- You will collaborate with Department of War enterprise stakeholders, Naval Warfare Centers, and intelligence agencies on joint planning, prototyping, and research.
- You will prepare and review engineering analyses, technical reports, and system change proposals.
- You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
