Intern, Accounting & Financial Rptg

Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is seeking a College Intern for Accounting & Financial Reporting. This internship offers hands-on experience in public transportation operations while providing the opportunity to develop professional skills and network within the industry.

What you'll do:

• Research, compile, analyze, and interpret data to support department projects and initiatives
• Assist with department studies, technical reports, and project documentation
• Conduct data research, maintain system information, and prepare reports
• Utilize computer applications and software to support daily operations and special projects
• Assist in developing project specifications, estimates, and feasibility analyses
• Collaborate with staff on projects that support agency goals and community needs

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree related to the assigned department
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications
