Intern, Accounting Operations

BMW Group is seeking an Accounting Operations Intern to support its accounting department. The role supports month- and quarter-end close activities, analyzes balance sheet accounts, assists with journal entries and reconciliations, and develops knowledge across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, asset accounting, and bank accounting.

What you'll do:

• Analyze balance sheet accounts and assist with journal entries
• Develop knowledge of general ledger account details
• Support accounting activities across sales, marketing, and purchasing functions
• Assist the Credit Team with dealer-related activities
• Support projects involving account reconciliations, clearing account data, and researching aged account activity

What they're looking for:

• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have completed at least 60 college credit hours at time of application
• Field of study: Accounting
• Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
• Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
• Experience using Microsoft Suite and SAP
• Conscientious, responsible, motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Languages: English (fluent, oral and written
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position
• This is a hybrid role that requires in office days
