Intern Analyst - Investment Banking/Chicago, IL

Chartwell Financial Advisory is a professional financial advisory firm specializing in valuation, corporate finance, and consulting. The Intern Analyst will receive training in business valuation and corporate finance while supporting financial modeling, due diligence, market research, analysis, and presentation development.

What you'll do:

• Due diligence analysis and financial model data entry
• Search and analyze public companies and M&A transactions across a variety of industries using Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other financial databases
• Sort, review, analyze, and develop conclusions from large amounts of economic, market, industry, and company-specific information
• Work independently on multiple engagements with multiple team members while managing varied responsibilities

What they're looking for:

• Junior class ranking in pursuit of a business degree and coursework in corporate finance theories
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience multitasking with little oversight
