Intern - Analytics Consultant

The Hanover Insurance Group offers a summer internship program providing college students with opportunities to apply academic knowledge to critical business assignments. The Analytics Consultant Intern will analyze historical business performance using data and basic statistical methods, develop business insights, and obtain data to support analysis and business planning.

What you'll do:

• Utilize skills, technologies and practices for continuous iterative exploration and investigation of past business performance to gain insight and drive business planning and address any business questions or problems
• Focus on developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and basic statistical methods
• Understand, access and obtain data required for analysis and assisting with all levels of analysis

What they're looking for:

• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program
• Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• Technical Proficiency: proficient in SQL, PowerBI/PowerApps OR Tableau, and python OR R, basic statistical procedures and methods
• Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and analytical skills
• Thinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, identifies, and develops solutions
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
