Intern Category Management (Spring 2027) Job Details | The Hershey Company

The Hershey Company is a consumer products company seeking a Category Management Intern to support its sales organization at Walmart. The intern will analyze shopper, sales, and customer data, develop selling stories and reports, identify opportunities, and make strategic recommendations related to assortment, placement, promotions, and displays.

What you'll do:

• Develop specific Category Management projects/reports to support Hershey sales goals at Walmart
• Develop fact-based analysis of customer business trends utilizing a variety of data sources
• Utilize Hershey business systems to identify key selling opportunities for Walmart (ie, Nielsen, IRi, Luminate, Space Management, etc.)
• Analyze sales information regarding key category programs & promotions (Seasons, Summer, Smores, etc.)
• Identify & develop new processes to enhance the Hershey Advisor Team which includes creating efficiencies among cross functional teams and departments

• A current undergraduate with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher (preference is 3.2 or higher)

• This position will be part time during school (20-25 hrs per week required) and full time (working 40 hrs a week) throughout the summer
