Food Lion is offering a paid summer internship focused on learning about the supermarket industry and category management. The intern will work on meaningful, hands-on projects in analytics, assortment, consumer insights, or business development while developing leadership and business skills.

What you'll do:

• Projects may fall under any of the following areas: Analytics, Assortment, Consumer Insights, and Business Development

What they're looking for:

• Minimum GPA 3.0 is required
• Permanent employment authorization/ US citizenship
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's program when applying
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
• Self-Motivated
• Team-oriented thinking
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
• Good judgment solving problems and making decisions
• Ability to take initiative and ask questions, learn quickly and strive for results
