Intern, Commercial 2027

ConocoPhillips is one of the world’s largest independent exploration and production companies, focused on delivering energy to the world. The Commercial Intern program is designed to educate interns about the energy business and the role of the Commercial organization, providing opportunities for hands-on experience and mentorship.

What you'll do:

• Interact with front office personnel and gain exposure to energy markets in a dynamic commercial environment
• Work on an exciting project assignment and multiple opportunities with the Commercial management team
• Culminate the internship with a presentation showcasing the knowledge of the intern’s work assignment and other elements related to their internship experience

What they're looking for:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, other related field, or Engineering, Math, Science, other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
• Current level in college: Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student
• Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring 2029
• A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship
• A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
• Exposure to analysis, modeling, visualization and presentation using common programs and applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
• Understands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business
