Intern - Commercial Tradable Products - Investment Banking (Summer 2027)

Commerce Bank is hiring an Investment Banking Intern to support transaction execution through financial analysis, research, and preparation of client-ready materials. The role assists with modeling, company and industry research, presentation production, and transaction process tracking.

What you'll do:

• Analysis & Modeling - assist in building transaction comps; support DCF and operating model inputs; spread financial data and run sensitivities and charts
• Research - Company and industry research; buyer screening; ownership/relationship mapping; news and filings review
• Materials Production – Assist in creating and formatting slides, tables, charts; support CIM and management presentation production
• Process Support - Track outreach lists, call notes, NDA tracking, diligence logs, and weekly status reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
