Intern, Data Scientist (Summer 2027)

KB Signaling delivers wayside and onboard conventional signaling platforms and solutions for transit and freight railway systems. The Intern, Data Scientist will support project assignments, research, data analysis, documentation, testing, recommendations, and presentations.

What you'll do:

• Specific activities will vary by assignment, but can include:
• Responsibility for project assignments, research, and analysis
• Conducting special studies in conjunction with a project, analyzing data, and making recommendations based upon studies
• Documentation and testing
• Drafting and delivering presentations

• Pursuing a degree in engineering
• The ability to work individually as well as contribute to a team project
• An aptitude and passion for solving complex technical problems according to assignment function
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, Excel and interpersonal skills required
• Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
• Strong computer skills, to include proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated accountability in assignment completion
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and proactively take on new assignments and challenges
