Intern: Electrical Engineer (Summer 2027)

Volvo Group develops sustainable transport solutions and manufactures heavy-duty vehicles. The Electrical Engineer Intern will gain experience in chassis and vehicle dynamics engineering while supporting the research, design, development, and testing of hardware and software components for class 8 trucks.

What you'll do:

• Electrical Engineering students should be prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment; gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of chassis and vehicle dynamics engineering such as design, production, and component installation
• We seek exceptional students who are passionate about working directly with various systems involved in the research, design, development, and testing of hardware and software components critical to the manufacture of class 8 heavy-duty trucks

• Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related program at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
• Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week
