Intern, Electrical Engineering

Gray AES is a professional services firm providing architecture, engineering, and automation services. The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the design and documentation of electrical systems, perform quality control reviews, coordinate with project managers, and review contractor submissions.

What you'll do:

• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems
• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements
• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission
• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment

• Revit experience preferred
