Intern, Engineering

Clark Pacific designs, fabricates, and installs architectural and structural building systems. The Engineering Intern supports design, manufacturing, field installation, and project management activities while gaining hands-on experience in construction engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do:

• Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information
• Learn and assist with design-phase activities, including submittal drawings, design approvals, reinforcement drawings, and miscellaneous metal drawings
• Learn and assist with manufacturing and production-phase activities, including shop drawings, material coordination, casting schedules, and quality checks
• Learn and assist with field and erection-phase activities, including crane studies, rigging diagrams, shipping coordination, and field manpower planning while supporting quality, schedule, and budget objectives
• Learn and assist with general project management tasks, including issue identification and resolution, procedure submittals, escalation of issues when appropriate, and monitoring of contract specifications, budgets, and schedules
• Other duties as assigned
