Intern - Engineering (Device Software and Test)

Microchip Technology Inc. is a global technology company seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern focused on device software and testing. The role supports Python test-code development, data automation, data analysis, visualization, software tools, and parametric and reliability testing in the TD lab.

What you'll do:

• Assist in developing Python test code, data analysis, visualization support
• Assist with data automation from test equipment to website
• Assist development and modification of data analysis scripts
• Experience with AI+Python, Java, C#
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Willing to learn a variety of different software platforms such as XP, DOS, Linux, SunOS
• Learn parametric and reliability testing in the TD lab

What they're looking for:

• We are seeking an highly motivated intern with a background in Electrical Engineering or related field
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software programming, statistical analysis, utilizing AI tools
• Familiarity with semiconductor circuits and National Instruments hardware is highly desirable
• In Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong AI, Python programming skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• No Travel
