Intern - Fabrication Engineer

Vaughn Industries is a construction company offering engineering, fabrication, and construction opportunities. The Fabrication Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience contributing to projects from design through fabrication and installation while working with engineers, fabricators, and project professionals.

What you'll do:

• As a Fabrication Engineer Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects from the design stage through fabrication and installation, gaining valuable insight into how engineering concepts are transformed into real-world structures and components

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in **Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field**
• Strong interest in fabrication, manufacturing, engineering, and construction
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans, or a willingness to learn
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in both an office/design environment and fabrication or field settings
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• A current college student pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Someone eager to learn, grow, and take initiative
• A team player with strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with CAD or 3D modeling software is a plus
