Intern – Finance & Accounting

TeleWorld Solutions is a strategic wireless engineering and consulting firm offering network design, optimization, and deployment services. The Finance & Accounting Intern will gain practical experience by supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, process improvements, and cross-functional finance activities.

What you'll do:

• Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits
• Maintain accounting records and financial documentation
• Assist with process documentation and internal control compliance
• Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Perform variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and operating results
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or anomalies
• Assist with special projects involving profitability analysis, cost management, and business performance reviews
• Support ad hoc financial modeling and data analysis assignments

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Coursework in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel PivotTables, or financial reporting tools
• Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Interest in Accounting, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Audit, or Consulting careers
