Intern - Financial Analyst

Aperture LLC is a national firm of forensic and consulting experts providing objective analysis across incidents, operations, and business challenges. The Financial Analyst Intern will support forensic consulting services involving litigation support, forensic accounting, valuation, financial analysis, research, and document review.

What you'll do:

• Performing economic/financial/accounting analyses
• Developing schedules
• Document and workpaper management
• Performing independent research
• Reviewing and monitoring financial documents for accuracy and completeness

What they're looking for:

• Accounting or Finance major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• In at least your Sophomore year, having completed some accounting or finance classes
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Significant attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Some understanding of financial statements including the ability to analyze a P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statement
• The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
• The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
• The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
• The ability to operate phones and computers
• The ability to work in front of a computer for the majority of the day
