Intern - Financial Analyst

The Hanover Insurance Group is an insurance company offering a summer internship program for college students. The Financial Analyst Intern will support finance processes, prepare business planning and review materials, conduct market research, and present project results to management while gaining exposure to AI tools for data analysis and decision-making.

What you'll do:

• Support monthly and quarterly book close processes on an as needed basis
• Assist in preparation for earnings calls, annual operating plans, and business review deliverables
• Perform market research to examine areas of opportunity within the business
• Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer
• Exposure to AI tools and techniques for data manipulation, analysis, and decision-making

What they're looking for:

• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program
• Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
• 0-2 years of professional working experience
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative skillsets
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Word
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
