The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, data analysis, and decision-making within the corporate finance function.

What you'll do:

  • Supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial models and forecasts
  • Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making
  • Supporting budgeting processes
  • Performing other functions and duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

  • Applicants must reside near the Minneapolis, MN, or Herndon, VA areas
  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Preferably with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, interpret complex information, and make informed decisions
  • Understanding of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Strong attention to detail when analyzing data, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to explain financial concepts, present findings, and collaborate with colleagues
  • Ability to think critically and propose effective solutions to complex challenges
  • Skilled in data manipulation, creating pivot tables, using formulas and functions, and building financial models
  • Ability to work effectively with others, contribute to team goals, and communicate collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn new tools, software, and industry trends and adapt to change
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
