Intern Forensics & Valuation Summer 2027

Forvis Mazars is a leading firm in the Forensics & Valuation practice, dedicated to providing expert services in forensic accounting and litigation support. As an Intern, you will gain valuable experience by preparing valuation models, conducting research, and supporting audit teams in various engagements.

What you'll do:

• Preparing business valuation models and reports
• Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information
• Preparing for and participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference
• Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates
• Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures
• Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements
• Performing detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, analysis of potentially fraudulent transactions, and reconstruction of financial statements
• Applying technical research skills needed to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data to arrive at a conclusion
• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external client

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
• Some travel may be required, up to 20%
• Desire or the ability to sit for the CPA exam
• Desire to obtain the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials
