About this role
Forvis Mazars US is a professional services firm providing assurance, tax, consulting, forensic accounting, litigation, fraud investigation, and valuation services. The Forensics & Valuation Intern will support valuation, forensic consulting, investigations, litigation support, financial analysis, audit assistance, and client communications while developing professional expertise.
What you'll do:
- Preparing business valuation models and reports
- Researching and analyzing industry, transactional, and economic information
- Preparing for and participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference
- Assisting audit teams with reviewing and testing fair value estimates
- Assisting with mathematical testing related to quality control procedures
- Participating in investigations, litigation support, and forensic consulting engagements
- Performing detailed analysis of financial and legal documents, analysis of potentially fraudulent transactions, and reconstruction of financial statements
- Applying technical research skills needed to gather, organize, summarize, and interpret data to arrive at a conclusion
- Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external client
