- The Fundamental Physics Directorate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory offers internship opportunities for students currently enrolled in an educational program or recently graduated
- Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an educational program or recently graduated and have US work authorization
- All accepted candidates must have or be able to timely acquire US work authorization
- A minimum commitment requested is 8 weeks
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational program or recently graduated in physics, engineering, computer science, computational science, applied mathematics, or a related science or engineering discipline
- Interest in particle physics, electronics engineering, computer science, or related field
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance is essential
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to accurately complete detailed work
- Strong verbal and written communication
