  • Ability to work independently and follow technical guidance
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or similar
  • Experience working with geospatial data libraries (e.g., GDAL, rasterio, geopandas)
  • Exposure to machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience using Git or GitHub for version control
  • Previous internships, personal projects, or coursework related to spatial analysis, AI, or remote sensing

Benefits:

  • Paid internship
  • A well-rounded learning environment with hands-on experience that enhances classroom education
  • Hands-on experience with real projects for WGI's private and public clients
  • Interns will be paired with a technical mentor and receive regular feedback and career development guidance
  • Opportunity to work on real client or research projects in the geospatial intelligence and engineering domain
  • Collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Exposure to geospatial tools, AI pipelines, and industry workflows
  • Emphasis on learning, experimentation, and professional growth
