About this role

Philips is a health technology company offering a three-month paid internship focused on insights and analytics for Health Systems Marketing. The intern will analyze data, develop dashboards and analytical workflows, and deliver actionable recommendations in partnership with business leaders and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

  • Synthesize quantitative, qualitative, structured, and unstructured data to deliver insights. Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and validate findings against source data and business context
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to frame questions, scope research, and deliver timely, actionable recommendations
  • Maintain trusted data sets and semantic models, ensuring data quality, alignment, accessibility, and appropriate governance
  • Translate analysis into clear data stories and business recommendations. Use generative AI to accelerate exploration and drafting while retaining ownership of final outputs
  • Build data and AI applications, dashboards, visualizations, and repeatable analytical workflows using Databricks, BI tools, SQL, Python, R, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities

What they're looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an MBA
  • Experience with modern data and analytics tools, including Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with BI and data-visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics or generative AI tools, with sound judgment to validate outputs against source data and business context
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, teamwork, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Self-directed, curious, and eager to take on meaningful responsibilities
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Databricks, or interest in learning modern cloud data and AI platforms, is a plus

Benefits:

  • For office-based teams, in-person at least 3 days per week
