Intern - ISM, Cyber Security and AI

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Cyber Security and AI Intern within its Lifecycle Services organization. The role supports security monitoring, incident response, SOC documentation, data analysis, and the development of AI-driven automation and workflows.

What you'll do:

• Assist analysts in monitoring security alerts, triaging incidents, and documenting findings
• Support incident response workflows (ticket creation, enrichment, and escalation tracking)
• Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and SOC runbooks
• Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation (e.g., alert triage, ticket summarization)
• Contribute to the design and testing of AI-driven use cases (GenAI, AIOps, SecOps)
• Support development of AI-assisted workflows for:
• Alert correlation and prioritization
• Incident summarization
• Root cause analysis support
• Analyze SOC data (alerts, logs, incidents) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Support development of automation scripts or workflows using APIs, Python, or platform-native tools

• • Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university

• • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• • Demonstrated desire to deliver high-quality customer service
• • A valid U.S. driver's license

• • Demonstrated experience using AI to automate processes and data analysis
• • Experience working with Python and API's
