Intern - IT Data Science (Summer 2027)

Plexus Corp. is a company that designs, manufactures, and services transformative products for Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare/Life Sciences, and Industrial customers. The IT Data Science Intern will assist with developing, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining data science projects and applications, while also supporting daily IT functions.

What you'll do:

• Work with operations to understand business requirements and translate those into solution requirements
• Build proof of concept models utilizing Machine Learning, Optimization, Simulation and Generative Artificial Intelligence techniques
• Build data pipelines and data products to feed new and existing data science projects
• Assist in the development of simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs
• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
• All GT team members are responsible for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents

What they're looking for:

• Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS for the entire duration of internship
• Junior level status
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
