Intern - Marketing and Business Development

Richard is a construction company focused on delivering impactful projects and transforming the construction industry through innovation and sustainable practices. The Marketing & Business Development Intern will support content development, digital marketing, proposals, market research, events, client development, and strategic growth initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Assist with the development of marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and qualifications packages
• Support social media and digital content development
• Assist with writing, editing, and organizing company and project content
• Help maintain project profiles, employee resumes, photography, and marketing assets
• Support company branding initiatives and internal communications
• Assist with market and industry research to identify potential clients, projects, and growth opportunities
• Research prospective clients and business development opportunities
• Support proposal and pursuit coordination
• Assist with client presentations and meeting preparation
• Help coordinate company events, conferences, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives
• Track marketing and business development activities and maintain relevant databases
• Collaborate with Operations, Preconstruction, and other departments to gather project information

What they're looking for:

• * Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field
• * Strong written and verbal communication skills
• * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• * Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling, branding, and business strategy
• * Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• * Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• * Desire to learn and grow within a collaborative organization
• * Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM platforms, social media tools, or similar software is a plus
• * Interest in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, or professional services is a plus
