Intern - Menu Design (Summer 2027)

United Airlines is seeking an intern to support its global complimentary onboard menu program. The intern will assist with menu strategy, planning, implementation, process improvement, workshops, presentations, cross-functional collaboration, and external partner communications.

What you'll do:

• Support the Menu Design team in strategy, planning, and implementation of all complimentary onboard menu offerings
• Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout all stages of menu development, planning, and implementation
• Participate in team workshops and menu presentations
• Collaborate with various United teams including Procurement, Food Safety, Catering Performance, Digital Technology, and Strategy & Onboard Experience
• Communicate with external partners to gather menu information and transfer to internal menu library database

• Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and the ability to leverage AI effectively to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies related to responsible AI use, data privacy, and security
