Intern, Parts Business Analyst

Porsche Cars North America is seeking an Intern for their Parts Business Analyst position. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive operational excellence and improve business performance.

What you'll do:

• Assist Parts Planning Manager to ensure day to day tactical work aligns with overall strategic vision of department
• Assist team business owners in alignment with Parts Planning Manager process to ensure project structure and accountability
• Support and execute multiple projects and initiatives
• Example projects include but may not be limited to
• Collecting data requirements from key business stakeholders and translate them into effective reporting and dashboard solutions
• Develop automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
• Establish and maintain standardized KPI reporting to support daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews
• Work with multiple data sources to identify and validate single sources of truth for critical business metrics
• Support data governance efforts by ensuring reporting consistency, accuracy, and data quality
• Support process automation initiatives through reporting and business intelligence tools
• Identify opportunities to leverage data and analytics to improve operational efficiency, inventory management, sourcing decisions, and supply chain performance
• Continuous Improvement mindset

What they're looking for:

• Minimum Senior in undergraduate studies
• Post graduate preferred
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, and or Data Analytics preferred
• Comfort and experience working with data and database tools like SQL is a plus
• Comfort and experience working with data visualization tools, i.e.: Tableau, Micro Strategy is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strategic and Continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (Project for the Web preferred)
• Must be organized, positive, proactive, results-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Understands and incorporates project methodology
• Experience working with large scale data to build the reporting solutions
• Assist in the demonstration through proof of concepts and present them to stakeholders
