Intern - Program Manager (Summer 2027)

Plexus Corp. is a company that designs, manufactures, and services transformative products for Aerospace/Defense, Healthcare/Life Sciences, and Industrial customers. The Program Manager Intern supports customer relationships, project delivery, contractual requirements, demand planning, order monitoring, forecasting, and customer commitment coordination.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for supporting the tactical, business customer relationship
• Support projects to deliver appropriate levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Work with team members to present issues and alternatives to the customer
• Support the projects in continuous improvement / Lean activities and programs
• Ensure the team is properly interpreting and executing contractual requirements
• Work with program management team to provide acceptable commitments based upon customer demand and Plexus capabilities
• Work with program management team to ensure demand is properly loaded into Master Production Schedule (MPS) and driven through to the materials Requirements Planning (MRP system)
• Monitor and report on the customer's open orders
• Obtain, analyze and report customer's rolling, periodic forecast
• Coordinate, negotiate and communicate commitment dates on customer orders
• Works well under pressure and high stress situations

What they're looking for:

• Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field for the entire duration of internship
• Junior level status
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced experience in Excel
