Intern: Project Management (Summer 2027)

Volvo Group is a global transportation company focused on efficient, safe, and sustainable transport solutions. The Project Management Intern will support logistics and supply chain projects, documentation, cross-functional collaboration, process improvements, data analysis, and performance tracking across North America.

What you'll do:

• Assist in planning and executing logistics and supply chain projects across North America
• Support project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and stakeholder communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and customer service
• Help identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solution development
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and data analysis to support project goals
• Track KPIs and performance metrics related to logistics and service delivery
• Contribute to sustainability and innovation initiatives aligned with Volvo Group values

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in logistics, transportation, and project management
• Applicants should be interested in pursuing a professional career in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• Applicants must have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
• Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Power BI) is a plus
