Intern -Sales Strategy

Sunoco LP is a wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S. The Sales Strategy and Analytics Intern will support executive leaders through financial modeling, commercial opportunity evaluation, performance reporting, Salesforce data analysis, and special projects.

What you'll do:

• Facilitate and coordinate cross functional review of financial models for larger opportunities. Propose creative solutions to meet financial targets and own updates to financial modeling
• Evaluate commercial opportunities for new product development. Coordinate with supply team on viability of opportunities. Develop and manage small scale pilots to evaluate opportunities in field
• Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly production and distribution of key performance metrics and dashboards for team. Support process for ensuring monthly forecasts for EBITDA and capital expenditures are accurate. Coordinate and support team members on updates to data
• On a quarterly basis, analyze data on closed-lost opportunities logged in Salesforce. Identify key themes and opportunities to present to senior management and other internal stakeholders
• Provide support for special projects as needed

What they're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Junior status
• Attention to detail is a must
• Must possess excellent writing, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in full Microsoft Office, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasionally tight deadlines
• Self-motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently
• Involvement in activities outside college studies
• Above average GPA
• Understanding of consumer marketing and/or communications practices preferred
