Intern - Software Engineering

Asure Software provides Human Capital Management software and services, including payroll, HR, and time and attendance solutions. The Software Engineering Intern will support the Research and Development team on AI and data science projects in an AWS cloud environment while assisting with IT operations, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and technical support.

What you'll do:

• Support data science, AI, and related projects in an AWS cloud environment
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Support IT staff in daily operations, including system updates and maintenance
• Help with software installations, configurations, and testing
• Provide technical support to employees, resolving basic IT-related queries
• Document IT processes and maintain system logs
• Collaborate with the development and security teams on various projects
• Learn and apply industry best practices in IT support and administration

What they're looking for:

• Current enrollment in a degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of operating systems and cloud environments
• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience and/or coursework in Data Science and/or Artificial Intelligence is preferred
