Intern Software Engineering

Watchfire is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a hands-on co-op internship assisting Software Engineers with coding, building, and testing applications and products. The role supports software development projects, product prototyping, testing, evaluation, and collaboration with R&D team members.

What you'll do:

• Participate in software development activities
• Assist Software Engineers with projects and prototyping as required
• Build, test, enhance and evaluate new or existing products
• Collaborate closely with R&D team members

What they're looking for:

• Experience with either C++, C#, Java on either Windows, or Linux platforms
• Experience with either AWS or Azure based deployments
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session
• Student enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Electrical Engineering, or any other Engineering program with good GPA and proficiency in software and data science courses and projects
• Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position
• Legal authorization to work in the US required. We will not consider candidates who need sponsorship, now or in the future, to be legally employed in the US.  No H1B, OPT, CPT or other “temporary work authorization” candidates will be considered
