Intern Systems Engineer

General Dynamics Mission Systems develops high-technology solutions, products, and services for defense and scientific missions. The Engineering Intern will apply classroom-learned skills while collaborating on technical projects that support national security and defense services.

What you'll do:

• Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country
• The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission

What they're looking for:

• Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology
• Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
• With a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
