Internship – Actuarial or Data Science or Product Services– Commercial Lines -Summer 2027 (Morristown, NJ or Remote)

Crum & Forster is a commercial lines insurance company seeking interns for summer 2027. The interns will work on two to three projects in actuarial science, data science, or product services, including insurance pricing, predictive analytics, insurance filing automation, and AI. They will enhance processes and tools, collaborate with experienced specialists, and support efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across Commercial Lines functions.

What you'll do:

• Work on 2-3 projects related to the above focuses
• Develop, maintain, review, update, and enhance existing processes and tools
• Partner with tenured actuaries, data scientists, and product specialists and learn about the nuances of insurance
• Support initiatives that drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across a broad range of Commercial Lines functions

What they're looking for:

• Actuarial and Product: Excel or R experience required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• An ability to manage time and work effectively independently
• Relevant coursework/exams in actuarial science or data science a plus
• Data Science: R or Python coding experience (stats and web development packages an added plus)
