Internship - Analog Mixed-Signal Design

Infineon Technologies is a global semiconductor solutions company focused on power systems and IoT. The Analog Mixed-Signal Design Intern will contribute to analog and mixed-signal IC design, operational amplifier and low-power circuit development, silicon characterization, scripting-based workflow automation, and collaborative design activities.

What you'll do:

• **Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design**: Contribute to the design, simulation, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits
• **Operational Amplifier Design**: Apply operational amplifier theory, perform stability analysis, and implement compensation techniques for enhanced circuit performance
• **Low Power Circuit Design**: Design low-power circuits, such as LDOs and Buck converters, to optimize energy efficiency and performance
• **Silicon Characterization and Debug**: Verify silicon performance against specifications through lab characterization and debugging processes
• **Scripting and Workflow Automation**: Use and apply scripting languages like Python, Perl, TCL, or Shell to automate design workflows and data analysis tasks
• **Team Collaboration**: Actively participate in team activities, including design reviews and brainstorming sessions, ensuring the sharing of ideas and alignment with project goals

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in an M.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in analog IC design, operational amplifier theory, and low-power design principles
• Familiarity with and ability to use scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Shell) and automation tools
• Eager to learn, adaptable to changing challenges, team-oriented, and equipped with strong communication skills
