Internship: Embedded Software Engineering

Eaton is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to support multidisciplinary new product engineering initiatives at its Franksville, Wisconsin site. The intern will perform engineering analyses, create designs, develop unit tests, and collaborate with global engineering teams on embedded applications and utility intelligent device products.

What you'll do:

• Work with hardware drivers and embedded applications, networking and related areas primarily using C, C++, and Python, as well as other programming languages
• Collaborate with a global multi-discipline engineering teams (software, embedded software, hardware, power systems, systems, product and test) to deliver products and features for the Utility Iltelligent Devices team
• Set aggressive goals, measures performance, and strive to go beyond what is expected
• Effectively work and communicate within a global team environment

What they're looking for:

• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's or master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science at an accredited institution with a graduation date no earlier than December 2027
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above

• Prior internship or co-op experience
• Junior or higher standing
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above
• Experience developing using C / C++, Python or other programming languages
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum concepts (or other iterative development methodology)
