Internship Program – Marketing & Events Operations (Germantown)

QIAGEN is a life sciences and diagnostics company dedicated to improving science and healthcare. The intern will support the North America Regional Marketing team with trade show and event operations, marketing coordination, CRM and marketing data management, campaign support, reporting, content creation, and market research.

What you'll do:

• Support execution of trade shows and events, including maintaining event calendars, tracking registrations, and organizing exhibitor communications
• Assist with pre-event logistics such as prep sheets, shipment tracking, and event kit assembly
• Manage and organize marketing data in systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Seismic
• Track leads, support campaign setup, and maintain accurate event and campaign records
• Contribute to post-event reporting by compiling survey results, summarizing insights, and supporting ROI tracking
• Assist with marketing content creation, including basic social media posts and email templates
• Conduct research on target audiences, industry associations, and event opportunities

What they're looking for:

• The intern needs to be based in this location during the internship
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
