Internship, Retail, Seed Accounting (Part-Time)

Nutrien is a provider of crop inputs and agricultural services. The part-time Retail Seed Accounting Intern will support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis while working with Field Operations and Finance teams.

What you'll do:

• Perform the day-to-day financial accounting and month-end close processes, journal entries and account reconciliations
• Identify and implement best practices regarding execution of accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare and Review Financial Reporting for the Field Operations and Finance Teams
• Work directly with Field Operations to assist in correcting and explaining accounting issues and concerns
• Work with Foundation team as needed as it relates to the accounting team
• Provide financial and business analysis to support key strategic objectives and implement reporting tools to aid management
• Perform other duties and projects, as assigned
