INTERNSHIP: SOLIDWORKS Product Definition

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Product Definition Intern to join their SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE Product Definition team in Waltham, MA. The intern will support the team with projects and day-to-day tasks, gaining an understanding of the software development process and enhancing their CAD skills.

What you'll do:

• Project-based part, assembly, and drawing creation
• Testing of projects ranging from modeling to simulation to data management
• Documenting issues noting where improvements can be made
• Reporting to the Product Definition team member responsible for the project
• Helping to coordinate user testing sessions both in-person and virtually

What they're looking for:

• A rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or other Engineering for the duration of the internship with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 /4.0 scale
• Demonstrable experience using SOLIDWORKS or other parametric CAD system
• Able to work onsite in the Waltham office with a hybrid schedule
• Self-motivated with polished interpersonal skills and maturity
• Highly organized, thorough, and precise
• Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office
• Experience with building and programming electro-mechanical systems is a plus
