Internship, Vehicle Accessories & Merchandise Product Intern, Global Merchandise (Winter/Spring 2027)

Tesla develops vehicle accessories, merchandise, and operates the Tesla Shop. The Vehicle Accessories and Merchandise Product Intern will support Program and Product Managers by tracking product launches, coordinating testing and photoshoots, supporting merchandising and marketing activities, and using market, sales, and customer insights to inform future product development.

What you'll do:

• Test fitting accessories on vehicles, photoshoot coordination, marketing strategy, copy readiness, inventory readiness and overall merchandising strategy within the Tesla Shop website
• Support in events where product is planned to be featured or sold
• In addition, you will be involved in providing insights from market research, sales data and customer feedback to make decisions for future product development

What they're looking for:

• This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through Winter/Spring term (ending approximately May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so
• We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships
• Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program
• You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site
• Currently pursuing Degree in Business, Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field that relates to product development/innovation
• Evidence of exceptional ability in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influential in a broader organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wrike and other project management tools
• Highly collaborative, team oriented and comfortable leading cross-functional projects and bringing creative and innovative ideas to the team
