Intramural Supervisor

Intramural Supervisors are responsible for supervising Intramural Sports activities and other events put on by the Program. They oversee and manage a fun and safe atmosphere for all participants. Intramural Supervisors may be asked to attend staff meetings or other training sessions throughout the academic year.

Program Duties

• Set up all equipment for intramural and special event activities.

• Sign-in participants and verify eligibility by checking CWRU IDs.

• Examine playing surfaces for safety hazards prior to events.

• Enforce Intramural Sports Program and Facility policies and procedures during contests. Complete all shift forms that are required.

• Break down and store equipment at the conclusion of activities. Work with the Building Manager to secure the facility space at the conclusion of activities.

• Evening and weekend work will be required.

• Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.

Hourly rate: $12.22/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Be part of the Federal Work Study Program.

• Have basic knowledge of sports and Intramural Sports policies and rules.

• Have good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with peers.

• Have a positive attitude.

• Have the ability to wear accepted uniform while on duty.

• Have the ability to work as part of a professional team that collaborates effectively with colleagues.

• Have the ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team.
