Inventory Specialist - 2nd Shift

Job Description*Please note the hours for this shift are 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM Monday to Thursday The Inventory Control specialist will be an essential position in organizing and performing inventory control activities to ensure that all items are appropriately received and stored in all warehouse locations.   Let's talk about Responsibilities: • Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately processed and stored • Organize and perform the daily activity that relates to inventory in the warehouse with the inventory team and assures they are completed in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. • Work directly with Inventory Control Analyst to investigate, research and address inventory issues and discrepancies. • Research and recount inventory discrepancies identified by the Inventory Control Analyst.  • Coordinate the cycle counts with the inventory team. • Available to provides support wherever needed to the warehouse team • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.   Let's Talk about Qualifications/Experience: Required • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent years of experience required.  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  • Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.  • Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. • Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered  Work Environment Requirements: • This position works in an operations/warehouse environment. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
