Investment Banking Analyst, Class of 2027

Leerink Partners is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst to support its healthcare-focused investment banking practice. The role assists senior bankers with M&A transactions and strategic assignments, including valuation, financial modeling, research, due diligence, and transaction execution.

What you'll do:

• Participate in client transactions, projects, and assignments as a member of the investment banking team
• Interact with clients and internal banking professionals
• Assist in preparing presentations for current and prospective clients
• Prepare valuation analyses of clients and transaction targets
• Review business plans, conduct industry and company research, and analyze financial statements
• Build and maintain financial models
• Perform due diligence investigations
• Support senior bankers throughout all stages of transaction execution

What they're looking for:

• Candidates graduating in 2027 with a BS or BA in finance, life sciences, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Exemplary academic record
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, energetic, personable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, and team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior investment banking, finance, healthcare, or transaction-related experience preferred
