Investment Banking Analyst - Equity Capital Markets

Societe Generale is seeking an experienced Analyst to join their Equity Capital Markets team. The Analyst will support capital raising solutions for issuer clients and work closely with Corporate Finance professionals, engaging in financial analyses, transaction development, and market research.

What you'll do:

• Prepare financial analyses and models – specifically company valuations
• Contribute to, and help develop ideas for, potential transactions
• Be proactively involved in every phase of the deal process
• Perform and present ad hoc research to support generation of new business opportunities
• Coordinating with internal functions to obtain all required approvals for the execution of transactions
• Understand product and market dynamics through comparables and markets analysis
• Keep up with industry trends

• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• SIE, Series 7/79 and Series 63 certifications. If not already obtained, must complete within five months of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• At least 1 year of Investment Banking experience
• Bachelors Degree from a top-tier university (preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance)
