Investment Banking Analyst- Tech

ROTH Capital Partners is a relationship-driven investment bank serving growth companies and their investors through capital markets and M&A advisory services. The firm seeks an Investment Banking Analyst for its Technology Team to assist with M&A and capital raising transactions, including financial modeling, research, due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction execution.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses
• Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal use
• Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution
• Support due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors
• Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuation
• Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail

What they're looking for:

• * Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
• * Solid understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies
• * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• * Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor's Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting
• * 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time) in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field
• * Securities Industry Essentials - SIE, Series 79, and 63 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
