Investment Banking ECM Analyst

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is a leading middle-market investment bank offering a range of financial services. They are seeking an Investment Banking ECM Analyst for their New York office, where the analyst will have significant responsibilities in preparing client materials, evaluating market data, and managing equity offerings.

What you'll do:

• Prepare client pitch materials and complex financial models
• Evaluate current and historical market data to support recommendations to clients
• Support Equity, SPAC and Convertibles transactions across all of Oppenheimer’s core coverage sectors
• Research and maintain team databases
• Manage the execution of equity and equity-linked offerings and communicate with the client’s Management team and key external parties
• Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the firm

What they're looking for:

• Must have 1+ years of full-time work experience, current students are not eligible
• Sales driven mentality with a strong capital markets acumen
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product
• Strong work ethic and team players
• FINRA Registrations: SIE, Series 63, Series 79 licenses required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter
• Equity, SPAC or Convertibles experience preferred
• Dealogic, Ipreo, CapIQ, FactSet, PlacementTracker, Bloomberg, MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred
