Investment Banking Healthcare Analyst / Associate – New York or San Francisco

Morgan Stanley is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst or Associate for its Healthcare Group. The role advises healthcare clients on strategic transactions and public and private capital markets transactions, develops transaction-related financial models, and collaborates with professionals across the firm to deliver client advice.

What you'll do:

• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients across the healthcare industry on a wide range of complex transactions including strategic advisory assignments and executions of public and private capital markets transactions
• The successful candidate will be expected to have advanced technical skills including expertise in all forms of modeling related to strategic advisory and capital markets transactions
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with professionals throughout the firm to deliver high quality advice to our clients
• You will play an important role on a team of high-performing industry professionals who will encourage you to take on meaningful responsibility on some of the most important transactions happening in the industry

What they're looking for:

• 1-5 years of experience within the investment banking industry as an Analyst or Associate, or an MBA, with a proven track record working on executed deals across M&A and various industry sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong teambuilding skills
• Experience modeling related to all relevant transactions
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Series licensing or must obtain
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, but not required
• An MBA would be an asset
