Investment Intern (Summer 2027 & 2028)

Readystate Asset Management is a multi-strategy investment firm focused on generating risk-adjusted returns across the capital structure. The Investment Intern will rotate through investment strategies, conduct fundamental and quantitative research, generate investment ideas, and collaborate with experienced investment professionals on real investment opportunities.

What you'll do:

• Fundamental due diligence on existing and potential investments, including financial modeling and quantitative assessments of investments
• Quantitative research/data analysis using market and non-traditional data
• Idea generation and screening for investment opportunities using fundamental or quantitative techniques
• Execution of ad hoc projects in collaboration with other team members

What they're looking for:

• A passion for investing and curiosity about financial markets
• Aptitude to perform fundamental analysis and identify key drivers of value
• Strong communications skills and the ability to organize and condense unstructured information into a coherent investment thesis
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to think differently and take initiative
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Python, R, and/or other data analytic tools (higher technical requirements for quantitatively focused analysts)
• Finance and accounting background are helpful but not required
